The desilting hopper is an essential desliming equipment in the quartz sand wet production line. It is mainly used to reduce the mud content and concentration of quartz sand. Its shape is an inverted cone, it occupies a small area, has a long settlement route, and has a remarkable mud removal effect. The ore particle size is generally less than 2mm. The slurry is fed into the central cylinder along the tangential direction, and flows out from the bottom edge after being buffered. The outflowing slurry flows out radially to the surrounding overflow weir. In this process, coarse particles whose settling velocity is greater than the rising velocity of the liquid flow will settle in the tank and be discharged through the bottom sand settling. Fine particles enter the overflow tank along with the surface slurry.
